  • A Journey in Christian Apologetics and Philosophy by Andrew F. Smith

Searching for practical ways to confront the most profound issues in the Church today? Is faith “the size of a mustard seed” enough for an enquiring Christian mind? Why are Christians of all ages – but especially young adults – turning away from God? Andrew Smith’s compendium is a unique exploration of apologetics and philosophy which shows how these two crucial fields combine to solve challenging issues such as thoughts on the church, parenting, the origins debate, metaphor, love, faith and miracles.

The book comprises eight essays drawn from Andrew’s personal interviews with some of the world's leading Christian thinkers, philosophers and theologians including John Lennox, Alister McGrath, Michael Green, N. T. Wright, Peter J. Williams, Peter S. Williams, Christopher Wright, Amy Orr-Ewing, Sharon Dirckx, David Wenham, Tom Price, David Robertson, Peter May, Keith Fox, Max Baker-Hytch and Andy Moore.

Enjoy this easy-read wander through complex topics enlightened by expert minds.

Reboot Your Skin: A Practical and Holistic Approach to Problem Skin

Is Your Skin Sending You a Message?

This is not a science paper full of dermatology words, so don’t bother looking for my MSc. My only goal is to create a routine for healthier skin based on my years of practical experience and experiments with good food and trusted supplements.

The holistic programme in this short book aims to boost your skin’s health from the inside out. The material covers superfoods and supplements, hormone imbalance and skincare routines and offers some tips about how to choose good makeup. The book will also address why an individual’s lifestyle choices directly affect their skin and, consequently, their health.

Our skin can be the first indication that something is ‘not right’ or out of balance in the whole body. The underlying cause could be due to our genes, which means we must learn to manage our condition rather than dream about solving it entirely and forever. Alternatively, the cause may be the influence of temperamental hormones, stress, bad skincare habits, sub-optimal food or poor gut health. Quite likely, the answer will be a combination of all these factors.

So, if your skin is sending a message let’s figure out what it’s trying to say.
